A horse's prayer:
My life is likely to last 20 years or longer.
Any seperation from you will be painful.
Remember this before you take me home.
Sometimes, im not always at my best.
But don't raise you voice at me
or your whip.
I may not have understood what you asked for.
Be aware that however you may treat me,
I will never forget.
Remember that I am powerful enough to hurt you.
yet I still choose not to...
Give me time to understand what you want from me.
Place your trust in me, like i have placed mine in you.
It's crucial for my well-being.
Feed me, give me water and wide space.
When there is a problem, I will be there.
I'll let you cry on my shoulder.
But will you be there for me?
I perform in shows for you.
I show off the best I can for you.
To win first place.
But have you ever said thank you?
Talk to me sometimes, Even if I don't understand you words, I understand you voice when it's speaking to me.
Take care of me when I'm old.
You too will be old one day...
When I'm no longer in use for you, don't let me starve.
Because I will miss you, Would you miss me?
Go with me on my last journey.
Everything is easier for me if you are there.
