Hi, Is there anyway to disable the highlight the existing fields box that appears when the user opens up the PDF. The client doesn't want the blue field boxes showing when the end user opens the form, I know they only have to click on the "Highlight Existing Fields" box to hide them, but they don't want this
I am making a PDF with Radio Buttons, with an image background, and when I display the PDF in Acrobat Pro X it looks fine. I have switched off Highlight Existing Fields in the Form menu. But when I open the document on another computer, large grey boxes are shown around the Radio Buttons.
May 26, 2011 To test out the field (type into it), you need to click the Preview button in the toolbars at the top of the Document window. Make sure that the Highlight Existing Fields button is selected so that all of the fields are highlighted. Click in the field you created and type a name (see Figure 9).
The Reader UI, by default, turns the "Highlight Existing Fields" on. This is certainly not wellcome in some of my projects. Is there any known docu.
As far as I know, Highlight Existing Fields can only highlight fields in one way. So if the field is required there will be a red border around it. Alternatively, you can "switch off" the Highlight Existing Fields and control the look of the fields with tab/mouse/submit events. If this is an acceptable solution here are 2 useful links:.

I would like to know if it is possible to hide/remove the highlight existing fields bar that appears after the fields are added to a pdf? I would like this to be the case in Acrobat and Reader both.
