In the near future, glacial melting has covered ninety-eight percent of Earth's landmass. Sharks have flourished, and now dominate the planet, operating as one massive school led by a mutated alpha shark.
This was possibly the most boring SF movie I ever tried to watch. Might have missed bits of it cause I was struggling to keep watching it through the severe boredom. CGI was really bad. They could have filmed sharks from most video games and it would have looked more realistic. The dialogue was painfully bad and overall it came off like a really bad remake of Waterworld.
Planet of the Sharks is a science fiction horror film that aired on the Syfy channel in 2016.
It tells the story of an earth submerged in water, the earth's land disappears and sinks because sea water rises, nearly 98% percent of the planet is submerged in water, and causes shark sharks to thrive .
This film is not too bad, it's still worth watching, although there are still many flaws like the very fake set, the CGI effect is bad
