I have the 3A model, it works great as heading hold gyro and as cyclic stabilizer. Because I'm a beginner it was a great help to learn flying without instructor (though I learned hovering with stabilisation switched off). The position lock is more as a commercial stuff - it is not efficient, I tried it but was not
