I've received a PDF with an e-signature image placed on a signature line. It looks fine when viewing the document in Acrobat Reader or Acrobat Pro, and the print preview even looks OK. When I send the document to any printer it puts the signature image on a black box instead of a transparent box.
I found that when this occurs, in some cases you can fix this by altering "Save As" options for the "PDF" type. In the file "Save As" dialog, select PDF under "Save as type:"; Click on Options button; REMOVE the check from the "ISO 19005-1 compliant (PDF/A)" selection under PDF options (see image).
