Does anyone have an opinion on which is better? Rough Guides, Southeast Asia on a budget. Or lonely planet, Southeast Asia on a shoestring.

3 Aug 2017 Lonely Planet travel guides are still the most common used by travelers but they've lost their edge over the past few years.
I don't think there's a 'better' one, but if I buy a guidebook I tend to go for Rough Guides as they have lots of interesting info in, and as most people use LP you can get some good recommendations that not everyone is going for. However, overall I prefer Wikitravel - if you use Google chrome, you can install a
