Cap your Vanguard marks each week and shard extra chest/gloves/boots - helms are inefficient (use tiger strikes and/or public events) 4. Grind all the Vanguard bounties each day that you can - the gear from get at each rank of 3+ can be sharded 5. Keep running public events hoping for random ascendant
