8 Dec 2007 I recently purchased my first boat, a 2004 skeeter with a Motorguide trolling motor. While fishing last weekend I turned the motor up to max to cut across a slough when the motor suddenly quit. 19 Jun 2016 I was returning to the boat landing using my trolling motor. It was on setting 1 or 2. When I bumped it up to 5, it ran for about 1 minute, made a funny noise, and then stopped working completely. I checked the fuse (3 amp), which seems to be ok. Any idea.
