Plan route to Mewslade Bay Beach using Google maps Plan route using Google maps. Map reference: SS 420871 Lat: 51.56074 Long: -4.28008. From Swansea take the A4118 Port Eynon road; at Scurlage, turn right onto the B4247 (signed for Rhossili), continue to Pitton and left where signed to Mewslade Car Park.
The water is usually very clean, although there is a large kelp bed close to fall bay which can feel strange to the touch. The area Option 1. One mile before Rhossili is Pitton, after you passing Pitton Farm campsite you will find the the road drops down, at the bottom of the hill you will see a farm on the left, you can park here.
Mewslade bay is one of the prettiest bays on Gower. The short walk to the beach, leads down a wooded path and then through the valley which is owned by the National Trust. Directions: From the B&B, head down to Parkmill, turn right onto the mail road and turn right at Scurlage, following the B4247 towards Rhossili. When you drop down into the village of Pitton take the only left hand turn in the village. The road will bear round to the left (downhill). Turn left into the first gateway to the car parking

At stile do not cross, but turn right along grassy path (ten minutes to beach). Retrace steps to stile to return. Continue on left-hand side of path uphill.
