i am ashamed of who i am. ppl say that what im doing is wrong. but why is it wrong?

i used to stick to that before but now when my friends say im totaly different then what i was before, it makes me feel sad, ashamed and a failure. i try my best to be who i am, but there are always someone who complains on what i do =< im sorry but im only human
