29 Feb 2016 Third, by using gradient-based curvature estimates to track entropy loss during training, we can sometimes remove the need for validation sets to tune models. Speaker: David Duvenaud is a postdoc in the Harvard Intelligent Probabilistic Systems group, working with Ryan Adams on model-based

20 Nov 2015 We make the following contributions: (i) we show that given a few high-precision pose annotations, e.g. from a generic ConvNet pose estimator, additional annotations can be generated throughout the video using a combination of image-based matching for temporally distant frames, and dense optical flow
I feel comfortable having my higher toms pitched to a descending C Major chord, with the 8? at G, the 10? at E, and the 12? at C. This is a consistent sweet spot for those sized In my book, The Drummers Bible, I included a quick tuning guide based on four categories. .. Feel free to check out my video on tuning here.
Normally it's best to start by tuning the Rate Roll/Pitch P in Stabilize mode then move onto tuning altitude hold in AltHold mode, then Loiter (which often needs no tuning) and finally the waypoint navigation performance in Auto mode. Note. Dave C's AC2.8.1 tuning guide has good information for tuning for rate roll and pitch
Everything you read below will be demonstrated in the tuning video further down, so you know what to look for, and at the bottom is a summary for quick reference. I think, however, it's important to I'll give a brief low-down on the 'rate_D' tune (or Dave C tune, as it's become known) ' later. (BTW, that's very
