18 Aug 2016 Installing PDFtk on CentOS/RHEL/Scientific Linux 7 In the transition to CentOS 7, the GNU compiler for the Java programming language libgcj was discontinue.
23 Jan 2017 I am migrating away from CentOS 5 due to it nearing OEL. I do use pdftk to put information into/form-fill a pdf pragmatically. This is done when an appointment is scheduled and the agreement/contract is emailed out. I notice that pdftk is no longer available in the base repos in CentOS 7 due to dependency
I have discovered that libgcj is no longer supported at version 7 of RHEL/CentOS and so PDFtk will not work. Does anyone know of a similar command.
23 May 2017 Download pdftk-2.02-1.el7.nux.i686.rpm for CentOS 7 from Nux Dextop repository.
The problem with installing pdftk on Centos 7 is that if has dropped support for libgcj. But you can install to package to install pdftk on centos7.
