7 Aug 2011 So Fox have the full rebuild manual for "Float" shocks for snow mobiles, but in Fox's infinite wisdom it looks like us MTB guys are too dumb.
27 Jan 2011 Fox FLOAT 2 Shocks Review: A definite step up in performance over the original FLOAT air shocks the Fox FLOAT 2 incorporate features from the Fox Evol X race shock that include a negative spring for improved rebound and a new piston design for more precise damping.

I usually have around 80 psi in the front shocks, but last year my 09 sp 800 had the float 1 shocks, my new sled has the float 2 s on it, so I will have to play with them and see whats what. I HAVE AROUND 140 psi in the back one to start off with cause that was what was recommended in the owners manual

and FYI increasing the psi does not change the ride height at all, it changes the way the sled handles. You do not take the weight off the skis to get an accurate reading either(per Fox manual). The manual says it should never be set below 50. It also says that the lower the psi the more tippy the sled will feel.
How often do you need to rebuild the fox floats 2? Never had these shocks beforeI have just over 1500 miles on them and was wondering should I.
