Adobe Acrobat, a program which helps users generate PDF files, does not, unfortunately, allow you to directly convert an existing PDF to monochrome. You can, however, convert it by, first, exporting it to a monochrome image format and, then, importing the PDF back to Adobe Acrobat.

18 Jul 2007 Hello there, I am having difficulty preserving the text when I convert from a color PDF to a black and white TIFF. I also would like to keep the file size at a minimum.
