If you run SumatraPDF with the command-line option -bg-color 0xffff99 it will launch SumatraPDF with the new background color, and save the background color as your default. The 0xffff99 part is the hex code for a lighter yellow. Alternatively, the following command line option can be used: -invert-colors.

Mar 8, 2017 Background color is good, text color is too dark. In light theme, divider window is not visible: bookmarks-light-divider. I think that's the comment you made on the PR. Changing colors of the ui (document.textColor, document.backgroundColor) should not be conflated with inverting colors of the PDF file

May 1, 2017 I changed advanced settings to mimic a dark theme for sumatra, but I can't seem to find a setting for changing text color of bookmarks bar to white. See pic for explanation: i.imgur.com/Lcxjqel.png.
