The regulator on a stationary cylinder system consists of the pressure gauge which tells you how much oxygen is left in the tank and a flowmeter which indicates the flow rate of oxygen. OperatingYour Cylinder System. The following step-by-step instructions will help you operate your cylinder system. Attaching the Regulator
Place the regulator onto the cylinder, matching the pins on the regulator to the holes on the cylinder. Tighten regulator. 7. Slowly turn cylinder on using the oxygen wrench turn counter-clockwise. 8.
Always be sure to begin with a new washer. Slip the regulator unit over the top of the oxygen tank to align the pins. Slip the wrench over the top of the tank, turn counter clockwise to register pressure. Connect the oxygen tubing and cannula to the oxygen out- let on the regulator.
Step 1: Remove plastic dust cap and plastic washer from cylinder post. Step 2: Loosen the T-handle on the regulator. Step 3: Lower the oxygen regulator over or connect it to the post of the cylinder. Step 4: Align the pins in the regulator to the holes in the cylinder post. If done properly, the regulator will not be crooked.
15 Jul 2017 Operating the Portable Cylinder: Slowly open the cylinder valve (turning counterclockwise) using the oxygen wrench or toggle bar if in place. You should see the contents (pressure) gauge slowly increase. Turn the flow rate to your prescribed liter flow or setting. Attach the oxygen tubing to the outlet on the regulator
If the valve post were to break off of a cylinder, it could cause considerable harm to anything in its path. HOMECARE SERIES. Regulator yoke. T-handle. Regulator. Washer. Cylinder wrench.
