Dr. Magdi Yacoub is one of the most famous cardiac surgeons around the world, American College of Cardiology was awarded him the “ Legend of Cardiovascular Medicine “ he was chosen as one Of the six most influential figures in the medical field because of his numerous achievements in the field of medicine particularly in heart surgery.

Dr. Magdi Yacoub has performed around 25,000 lifesaving heart operations, 2,000 heart transplants and 350-400 heart-lung transplants.
Dr. Magdi Yacoub studied medicine at Cairo University, moved to Britain and became the specialist heart and lung surgery at Harefield Hospital and the director of the Department of education and scientific research. In 2007, he won the pride of Britain award, this award is awarded to people who have contributed in different ways of giving, and courage, who had contributed to the social and community development.
