I have been playing with my tp-link wr703n with dd-wrt (DD-WRT v24-sp2 (06/08/12) std - build 19342) for some time but couldn't get it to work the way I for use as LAN / WAN) it should work by setting WAN to eth0 in Setup -> Networking but some additional manual configuration is apparently required!
