29 Aug 2002 Trail Conference Headquarters is closed Thursday, March 8, due to a power outage. This loop hike climbs to the summit of Slide Mountain, the highest peak in the Catskills, with several outstanding viewpoints. Trail Conference volunteers maintain trails in this hike.
