In all mmos killing stuff fast is always prefered over killing stuff hard and getting more xp. Because if you do the maths you are getting more fame/hour on a group than doing it solo. Still once you unlock 6.2/7.1 gear you can pretty much camp t4/t5 dungeon bosses and hope that no one else comes for them.
