Sheriff Dan Tashtego and a team of creeper hunters enlist the help of officer Davis Tubbs to help stop the monster's eating spree.
Set between the first and second film, Sgt Davis Tubbs assembles a task force to destroy the Creeper once and for all while growing closer than ever before to learning the secrets of its dark origins, as the monster terrorizes a local farming community.
Having been a huge fan of JC 1 AND 2 i was sadly disappointed with this third installment.First of all,the monster has lost his creepiness.I should give the movie no stars just for that mistake alone. He is ,as others have said,too human.There was nothing human about him in the first two movies.The kill scenes are completely left out....instead of leaving the monster mysterious,they leave the kill scenes out! My favorite of the three movies is the second one because of all the gory and creative kill scenes. This installment is a continuation of the first movie,which i thought would be interesting but there were too many sub plots..none of them interesting.I never cared about any of the characters.I hate a movie that drags out sub plots.Again i have to say my biggest complaint is the monster himself.....why did they make him seem like a human serial killer? Why did they drag out the sub plots instead of setting up an interesting movie from the beginning? I shut the movie off three quarters of the way through..i didn't care to see the ending.

JEEPERS CREEPERS III takes place in between the first two movies. After watching the film my wife and I basically looked at each other scratching our heads and wondering what Victor Salva was thinking. I know there were issues getting the money for the film and his original idea was changed for whatever reason. To us this film here was pretty darn confusing on many levels and we both thought it was pretty poor as well.
It's really too bad that this film ended up so bad because there were countless storylines that they could have followed and I think they just picked a bad one. The idea of placing this after the events of part one and before the events of part two just led to some logical issues but I'm not going to get into any spoilers here. You can tell that the film was hampered with a low-budget and there are several scenes that have some really poor CGI. The film also stays away from any sort of bloodshed so I'm guessing that they were hoping for a PG-13 rating to try and draw more people.
The biggest issue with the film is the script, which doesn't offer up a very interesting idea. I mean, had the film focused on bounty hunters going after the monster then perhaps this would have made for more entertainment. Instead we got several other storylines brought into it including a really lame love story between a teen couple. Even worse was the weird old grandmother. None of these stories were all that interesting and put them all together and you've got a film that just drags out to the point where you'll be looking at your clock quite often.
I will say that I enjoyed Stan Shaw and wish he had more to do in the picture. The rest of the cast are good enough in their roles but lets face it, they really didn't have much to work with. It's really too bad that JEEPERS CREEPERS III turned out so bad because fans have been waiting on it for nearly fifteen-years. The budget was an obvious issue but there's no question that the biggest problem with the story they were trying to tell. In the end, we learned very little making this film quite pointless.
