Time's stopped just at my feet,
I'm tired and bored of this tune that's kept playing throughout life,
I want something to unwrap my dreams,
Those of which I don't dare to dream,
It's as if my mind doesn't want me to do things in life,
I'm trapped inside a little girl who's afraid of everything that's got changes hidden within,
All she wishes is for herself to remain a child,
Caring for the small things of those her fellow friends and enemies forgot to care for,
She doesn't want the riches and fame,
She wants to sing a tune here and a tune there,
Smell the red flowers and the yellow ones maybe even some blue,
Bake an applepie in autumn and enjoy walking with bare feet on the summergrass,
Light a fire in winter and sing along with the newly come birds in spring,
But in the world in which we are now, there really isn't time,
So she's stuck with everything changing,
There's too much to do to have time for baking,
There's too much heartbreak and sorrow for her to deal with,
Maybe that's how I see myself and maybe that's why I didn't go to school today ..
