Personally I like Scyther's design better, but cant quite shake off the whole notion of an evolved pokemon being better than non evolved, other than what I can get from the stats is just that Scyther is faster but weaker (110 vs 130(150) Atk and 105 vs 65(75) Spe) Priority moves, much better typing and so on
