The Flash finds himself in a war torn alternate timeline and teams up with alternate versions of his fellow heroes to return home and restore the timeline.
Everyone at one time wants to go to the past and change everything. And Barry Allen has that chance. When he was a child, his mother was brutally murdered and when he grew up, lightning struck in his lab turning him into the Fastest Man Alive. However, traveling to the past to change it can distort everything with serious consequences. When he wakes up, it's in a world he doesn't even know. This is a world where the Justice League does not exist, where no one has ever heard of Superman, where Aquaman and Wonder Woman have plunged the world into the darkness of war, where no human has ever wielded the Green Lantern's light, where the Fastest Man Alive is just another man, and where Batman has as much blood on his hands as his enemies do. Powerless and alone, Barry remembers reality as it once was. He turns to Batman for help to get his powers back and joins forces with the warped versions of the men and women he once fought alongside with to set things back to rights. It will take time, but unfortunately, Barry is running out of it as his memories are starting to fade. Whether Barry succeeds or fails...the world will never be the same
This is one of the top "what if scenario" in superhero animated movies. Okay the the plot revolves around the Butterfly Effect, where changes a certain thing in the past can make a huge altered future. Now the Barry Allen aka The Flash is one of my top 5 superheroes in the DC universe. So it was cool to watch a animated movie where the story revolved around him. I thought it was interesting to see the altered future where Bruce Wayne's dad is Batman and his wife becomes the Joker. Even if it's a bit disappointing that they didn't really show Bruce's mom as the joker and how Batman deals with that. The main conflict in this, is the war waged against one another between Wonder Woman and Aquaman's army which has enough destructive force to destroy the world. I also liked how they portrayed all the characters, especially with Barry Allen and taunting his enemies, with some jokes and witty one-liners. Sure, there are some key differences between the animated movie and the comic book. Some parts I thought was unfortunate, but it does a fine job of keeping it's pace without losing much in the process. Sure certain aspects of this movie or the comic seems a bit too far-fetched. It's still a fun thrill ride.

Before I first saw this film I got the game injustice with all the flashpoint costumes and then I knew that I had to see the film. So the film starts off showing the past of Barry aka the flash. He then try's to change the past which succeed. He then realized that he had change the time line of the universe, aka the flashpoint paradox. Instead of Bruce Wayne being Batman, the father of Bruce, Thomas Wayne turns out to be batman. Barry's mum is alive, Superman is nowhere to be found and Wonder woman and Aqua man are about to start WW3. The film also shows many other interesting characters such as Cyborg, Death stroke and Lex Luthor. This film was fantastic from the sad past of Barry and Batman to the ultimate battles which leaves the characters in pieces. This is a must see film and I loved it from the costumes to the ultimate battles. I've seen lots of films about the Justice League and lots about Superman and Batman, but this film is in my top 3 favorite for DC comics.

It is shown that Captain Atom was captured by Aquaman, but it was never revealed that how he was captured. It can only be speculated that Aquaman's advanced technology was used against Captain Atom to neutralize him. a5c7b9f00b
