24 Jan 2008 The other night a presenter on ABC radio introduced a broadcast of Dad's Army. She pronounced the name of Captain Mainwaring as "Main wearing", instead of "Mannering". Not only was this wrong, but somewhat egregious, considering that she'd spoken as if familiar with the show. Perhaps she was
