The ancient wonders of the world have long cursed explorers who've dared to uncover their secrets. But a team of U.S. archaeologists gets more than they bargained for when they discover a lost pyramid unlike any other in the Egyptian desert. As they unlock the horrific secrets buried within, they realize they aren't just trapped; they are being hunted.

If movies like "The Ruin" and "Descent" appeal to you, you'll probably like this. The storyline isn't quite as top notch (not bad) as those I've mentioned but it was well filmed and acted. If we had had just maybe one more side plot going to keep me more engaged, I may have rated it higher but nevertheless it is a lot better than many other horror movies. It feels on par with another flick that released recently "As above, so Below". I'd rate both films about the same. I liked both of them and they both held my attention. There is something about crawling into some dark and incredibly old place where you face some potentially ancient evil that holds my attention. I'm of fan of these movies. If this subject appeals to you you'll probably enjoy watching it.
Cant say i didn't enjoyed watching this movie just a little.
The storyline is good, i liked the idea of the movie, having a Anubis as real thing, you could say that there was too much fantasy in it, i didn't like how the other creatures looked inside of the pyramid, and i don't even know how they come up with them, but, Anubis was somehow great, However, there is nothing you could call horror in this movie, maybe just a tiny little bit and not for me of course, but, you could say it is a horror movie for a 10 years old kid.
Also I can't really understand why Anubis minions attacked him.
You could watch this movie and have a good time doing so, but only if you have nothing else to watch.
The air inside the pyramid isn’t the only thing that’s stale in this ludicrous yet mildly likable horror film.
