Applicability: Stinson 108 Series; 36 pages; Illustrated. A guide for owners and operators in the design features and operation of the 1947 Stinson Voyager and Flying Station Wagon airplanes. This manual is a direct copy of the original; Univair assumes no responsibility for the contents.
The Stinson airplane flight manual is a required document which must be in the airplane during flight. Each airplane has an unique airplane flight manual because of model, and also because the equipment list is in this manual, not the "Owner's Operating Manual." Here is the basic Stinson 108-3 Airplane Flight Manual.
Refer to figure 3. Attach mooring ropes to the tail wheel leaf spring at the rear of the fuselage and to each wing. On models 108, -1 & -2, it is necessary to loop ropes around the upper ends of the front lift struts for wing tie-down points. On the model 108-3 a special moor- ing ring is attached to the front spar near each wing tip.
