Kodak Retinette 1A case Kodak Retinette 1A I hunted down a bit of info on my new baby: it looks like it was made sometime between October 1959 and February 1961. The lens is Schneider-Kreuznach Reomar f/3.5 50mm, and the shutter is Pronto. This camera does not take batteries!

A Kodak Retinette 1A (type 035) 35mm viewfinder camera in Chris Sherlock's collection. The Retinette 1A must have been a very popular model, certainly they make up the vast bulk of the Retinettes I see these days. Kodak Retinette 1A type 035 type 035. Similar to the earlier IA type 042 this model is fitted with a Reomar 45mm f/2.8 lens in a Prontor 250S or 300S shutter. It also has a hot-shoe for flash.
