’’Can’t sleep, clowns will eat me. Can’t sleep, clowns will eat me. Can’t sleep, clowns will eat me. Can’t sleep, clowns will eat me…’’
Clowns…
With a joke or toy. They spread us joy
Smiling like there were no tomorrow. No worries or any sorrow
Laughing as high and long as they can. Making a fool of women and man
We let our kids watch the clown. It’s giving them an fantasy of their own
A fantasy where everything is fun. Everything between car and gun
A fantasy where you can not cry. But some kids are scared and you wonder why
Don’t be fooled of what it seems to be. Think as a child and you will see
Look at the smile and happiness of the clown. Then look at the smile of your own
Are they the same? Or is it all just a foolish game?
A clown who smile and laugh all day. Dosen’t really have much to say
A clown has never had an face. It’s all just a trace
Like a mask placed on a man. Screaming ‘’Cry if you can!’’
That isn’t normal at all. It’s like watching a wall
You’re afraid of him and don’t want him near. Your own child will be shaking in fear
Imagine yourself in the dark night laying in your bed. Imagine that you’re being watched by the eyes of red
The eyes of a clown next to your own. It makes me shiver and frown
Think about it… Are they really so fun as you think? Or are they a living nightmare that will make you sink…
