Lukas Rossi is the front man of Rockstar:Supernova ( Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Gilby Clarke (ex-Guns N’ Roses) and Johnny Colt (Black Crowes). Chosen over 20,000 competitors around the world on the TV show (CBS) helped pave the road for the international exposure but Lukas has been in competition since he was a teenager.
Having fronted Toronto bands Cleavage and Rise Electric was great training ground for what has turned into a world tour.
The Rockstar: Supernova debut album was released on Epic Records in November of 2006 in which Lukas was a writer on five of the tracks including the song Headspin (a homage to his mother) that he performed multiple times on the show. The album has already achieved P latinum status in Lukas’s home country Canada and after completing their winter tour it will be climbing the charts in other territories around the world.
This is only the beginning for the longer road ahead of Lukas. His voice is as pure as they get, his stage charisma is infectious and his songwriting is from the heart.
