Round Cake Cutting and Serving Guide- Wedding size slices AND party size slices!

Then cut the second tier, third and fourth, removing each tier from the cake before cutting it. To cut a round tier, move in two inches from the outer edge, cut a circle and cut 1" wide slices within it. Move in another two inches, cut another circle, and slice into 1" pieces. Continue until tier is cut.
Square Tiers. Move in 2 in. from the outer edge and cut across. Then slice 1 in. Round Tiers. Move in 2 in. from the outer edge ; cut a circle and then slice 1 in. Petal Tiers. Cut Similar to round tiers as diagram shows. Heart Tiers. Divide the tiers vertically into two, four, six, eighths. Within rows, slice 1 in.
If cake is the only dessert and/or portions larger than 1"x2" are served, then you will have less servings than the chart indicates.
