28 Apr 2014 The memory copy speed has also increased but we can ignore it since it is between graphics memory to memory. But the memory reads and writes are between GPU and CPU. So yeah, HT link definitely increases performance and I hope this will clear a lot of confusions people have whether to overclock
17 Nov 2012 i have phenom ii x 6 1055t @ 3.9 ghz. i overclocked cpu / np frequency at 2559 mhz the problem when i also overclock ht link speed to the same speed of cpu nb frequency and press f10 to save and reboot it says overclocking is failed but sometimes it works and speed of cpu np and ht link are the same. i
I just read an Overclocking guide from AMD telling me that my CPU NB should be double what my ram is set for. That would mean a CPU NB But it doesnt explain why in my bios it says "warning if the cpu nb freq. is lower then the ht link the freq will be adjusted by default." it doesnt say which frequency

Hi reddit, am watching JayzTwoCents guide on FSB overclocking and have read the sidebar guide on multiplier overclocking, and decided to go with
Change the HT Link multiplier to 11. In our case this game us a HT Link speed of 2442MHz which is equal to our CPU Northbridge speed. Save the settings and boot back into Windows to make sure both the HT Link and CPU Northbridge speeds are stable by running Prime95 on the Blend setting for at least 20 minutes.
I noticed an increase in my memory performance in geekbench when overclocking HT Link and NB. So there was a general better performance. I have read that CPU frequency still has the biggest impact on speed though. full_out Feb 29, 2012, 7:21 PM. Thanks for the info. Anyone else have some more in
14 Feb 2013 HT Link FX6300. Hi. I have a question about the fx 6300. I have a fx 6300 and m5a97 evo r2.0 and with "auto" settings my ram is on auto = 1600mhz cl11 with HTT at pretty sure the HT Link speed is 2600 default. I really dont want to overclock the nb speed because it will need hours of stability testing.
