I just started Icewind Dale II myself recently. My party so far is fighter/paladin/druid/wizard/rogue/bard, and it's working fine so far. I think that as long as you have a rogue and as long as you spread the rest of your choices out, most combinations will work just fine. Here's a basic outline of all the classes:
IWDEE has true grandmastery though, so that is one reason to go dual-class instead of multi-class. Unless you are playing a solo game or Heart of Fury mode, you won't come anywhere close to the cap anyway. There is approximately 15,000,000 exp in the game. I wanna know when fighters get more perks on levels aside from HP so i can decide weather to dual now or wait another level. I don't like cults. My ass always feels
Dec 6, 2014 If you're planning continous playthroughs, then definitely multi/dual class. As far as I know (and have experienced), Icewind dale doesn't have an EXP cap like the Baldur's gate series, only the 30th level cap. This means that once your party is "maxed out", a Fighter/Mage will have the exact same amount of
Mage specializations are treated as mage kits from Baldur's Gate II, Barbarians are treated as a fighter kit in Enhanced Editions. The following Table only . Valid multi-class combinations Edit Humans may not MULTI-class, but can instead DUAL-class, starting from a Level 2 kitted or a unkitted class onward. By doing so
I started work on the Enhanced Edition version of my Icewind Dale guide, and just wanted to share some facts about the EE: 1) The game still has a LEVEL cap, not an EXPERIENCE cap. Ergo, multi-classing and dual-classing will get you the strongest characters in the game. 2) Clerical spells like Righteous Wrath of the
