I want to create an ADOBE reader application that can open multiple small windows over a full screen PDF file such as what happens when opening a help window. I am using Acrobat Pro latest and Windows XP.
Is there a setting to open full screen instead of minimized? Running Acrobat 5.0 on XP pro platform. Opens Minimized. Sorry, I mean Acrobat. I have unchecked prompt for pdf file name so that when I click OK to print the file using the distiller it would essentially show me a preview and save the file to the default location.
Setting Initial View for a PDF Document. You can set a specific initial view for a PDF document which determines how the document displays when it is opened. Define how to display pages: to display pages only, or with a Panel (Bookmarks Panel, Pages Panel, or Attachments Panel). Select to show default page layout,
Print a PDF file silently: AcroRd32.exe /N /T PdfFile PrinterName [ PrinterDriver [ PrinterPort ] ]. The last command will open a new Adobe Reader window, print the PDF file and then terminate its window unless that window happens to be the only Adobe Reader window left: at least one Adobe Reader
Opera Next 18 just started opening Adobe reader .pdf files in a tiny minimized window. I can maximize it ok but then I have to press the esc key to get the adobe reader toolbar. Is there a setting or other fix for this? Michael.

I am able to open Adobe files on new Windows 8, but not able to minimise the window in order to work on multiple documents at a time. Please help. I.e. when viewing the PDF i am not able to.

When I click on the shortcut, Acrobat is opened in minimized mode, however, when I double click any PDF document, it opens maximized.
