A grief-stricken cop and an amputee grandmaster are brought together by a peculiar twist of fate as part of a wider conspiracy that has darkened their lives.
Daanish is in the Anti Terrorism Squad and loses his daughter while chasing terrorists down. He decides to avenge the death of his daughter. He meets pandit Omkarnath who himself had lost his wife and daughter and becomes friends with him. 'Wazir' shows the struggle of a father to bring justice to those responsible.
I have been looking forward to this movie since I saw its trailer. The music of a movie is extremely important to me and with wonderful numbers like Tere Bin, Tu Mere Pass and Atrangi Yaari, I was completely captivated by the beautiful cinematography of them all. I will not ramble on go on and on about every different aspect of the movie. Because, there is a lot of talent in the movie, from the great Big B, to Farhan and even John Abram did a good job. Although, I was particularly, impressed by Neil Nitin Mukesh. He proved to be a worthy adversary. Instead, I will just say, that the movie surpassed a lot of my expectations and is a must watch. A great start to the year 2016.
I'm sure people like playing chess would love this movie. This movie is about how a prawn moves 1 step at a time and reach at end to become the most powerful player in chess "Wazir".
Performances of all the actors were top notch. And male bonding between Farhaan Akhtar and Amitabh Bachchan was beautifully shown with great chemistry. Music were melodious and beautiful. Although some portion of films can be predicted. But then there are twist too. I really enjoyed watching this game.
And people love watching thrillers would definitely love this film. So just go for this u won't be disappointed.
