I think the problem lies in the fact that html2canvas will give you a png image, with transparent pixels, and that jspdf will convert it to jpg, transforming those transparent pixels to black. Try to set the body and html background to white before you call html2canvas. – Kaiido Sep 9 '15 at 6:44. I have setted bg for html body.
Step 2: Now you could draw the image onto a white canvas and thereby the result would be your JPEG with a white background ctx.fillStyle = "#ffffff"; ctx.fillRect(0,0,canvas1.width,canvas1.height); ctx.drawImage(image, sourceX, sourceY, sourceWidth, sourceHeight, destX, destY, destWidth, destHeight);

4 Jan 2017 I am exporting a bar chart to pdf by using jspdf plugin. The bars on the chart is in white color so when I export to pdf ( as a png image) , the bars are not visible on the transparent background in the pdf. I added a gray background color on the container so that the white bars are clearly visible. When I export

30 Apr 2014 In my case, I needed a white background. So this worked for me: var ctx = canvas.getContext('2d'); ctx.clearRect( 0 , 0 , canvas.width, canvas.height ); ctx.fillStyle="#FFFFFF"; ctx.fillRect(0 , 0 , canvas.width, canvas.height);. After this code, just do the drawing on the canvas as usual and export to jsPDF.
15 Aug 2016 jspdf converts transparency into black. so if you can set a background color to white you will be all set. I'm not sure how you are sending you're png to jspdf but can you wrap it in a white div. or if you use imagemagic $im->setImageBackgroundColor('white'); I'm sure there must be an equivalent – jkuhns5
