Congratulations my absolute hero by all times, Mr Freddie Mercury on your 65th birthday <3
Freddie Mercury was the lead singer in the brittish band Queen until his death at 24th november 1991.
He died from a lung disease resulting from AIDS.
It was a secret for several years that he suffered from HIV but then on his death bed he gave in to the rumors and told the media that he was suffering from AIDS.
he had turned half blind and his body had weakened by a lot. So to shoot this video they had to take a lot of breaks because he was in so much pain, and if you look closely you can see.
Freddie mercury was an amasing singer and could hit notes that was impossible for that time. He was also one of the most famous men for being bisexual and at that time in England at least homosexuallity had just been allowed by law for only a couple of years.
He didn't care about what others thought of him and that is amasing by far, he maybe seems as an extravagant person but that was only his character on the stage. In person he was actually quite shy and not many knew him because he didn't very often allow interviews (:
The most greatest singer in the history in my opinion, I can't pick a favorite song because all of his songs that he wrote for the band is absolutly perfect <3
