Sign In. Welcome to Upper Room Submissions! If you are an author wanting to submit a meditation, there is no need to register or sign in. You will submit seven meditations. Each meditation will include the following: a listing of a Bible reading from your assigned scripture passages for the week. a meditation of 325 words based on the scripture reading chosen for the day.

The Christian devotional market is different in that most require you first submit samples before receiving assignments to write devotions.
