8 Nov 2012 The YN-568EX also has S1 & S2 simple Manual optic slave mode for regular or TTL pre-flash. This is a basic optic slave that will just fire the flash in manual with no remote control. This is still very handy though as any other manual or TTL flash can be used to simply trigger the 568EX, in sync, off camera.

Yes, manual flash power control only but the YN-560 III has a built in RF receiver and can work with either the RF-602 or RF-603 Yongnuo RF triggers.
