Hey guys, I looped my power steering using meltmans (?) I loved the eg rack. but now im lazy and am keeping my power steering in my teg work when i did the swap on my last car. i hated the idea of some thing being half/azzed on my car. so i replaced the power rack with a eg manual, and built myself

4 May 2009 Alright I just bought a 93 Civic that has a manual rack in it. I also have a K swapped DC with a power steering rack that I looped the lines on. Would there be any benefit to swapping out the racks for one another? Will I be able to swap racks without any hassles, will it be a straight bolt up deal?
I don't know which rack would fit though the EF or EG. yea there was mojogsr92, zoomintegra and i have all completed the manual steering conversion using the power rack. the rack has to have fluid in it, but it doesnt have to be under pressure. in fact, if you are converting to non power then you dont

You will need: 92-95 EG Rack and pinon assembly. Proper tools, Torque wrenches, cotter keys, etc.. Seems like it isn't much. The only downfall of doing this is that the civic has a wider turning radius. The steering is not as responsive. There is a solution though, Quaife. They're rack and pinon quick ratio
