The following text is mostly for Homestuck readers to understand and react most to, but read as you like. This will be a good time-killer.

Jag har bara en snabb liten fråga till alla er HS fans där ute! Vet ni något om det där "The Betty Crooker Thing" som det snackas om hos rätt så många läsare på tumblr?
Om ni har det, så pwease förklara gärna för mig vad som i hela det heta helvetet försigår bland Homestuckare??
En text jag klippt ur från en HS fanpage på tumblr:

"I feel like I have to make another post about this, spread it around if you want I don’t mind.
I just sent the person responsible for the Betty Crocker thing a second ask requesting that they stop trying to get it to become a thing.
I was also just made aware that they sent submissions to more than one blog about it, and whatever other blog it was posted a screenshot of it, along with the date, times and phone number. I did that before on my personal, but deleted it after the incident started getting attention, I didn’t want anyone to actually consider participating.
Now that the date for the event is actually out and circulating, I’m kind of scared that people are actually going to consider participating. While I can’t control what you do with your free time, just know this:
What you’re doing is harassment. It is not a cute and fun thing, it is actually harassing people who have done absolutely nothing wrong and are just trying to get through their workday. They won’t know what a batterwitch is unless they actually read Homestuck. Even if they do read it though, I’m sure they won’t enjoy getting their phone lines flooded with people complaining about Batterwitch related nonsense. They have work to do, and they probably already get enough frustrating phone calls as it is.
Basically what I’m trying to say is: don’t fucking do it. pardon my language.
Please don’t do anything ridiculous guys. Understand that there is a very real difference between what you read in a webcomic and reality. Doing something like this could potentially harm the comic and it is not cute nor is it fair to any poor person you end up harassing. If you don’t know what this is about, good. Don’t find out.
I’ve seen the screencap hit my dash and honestly, guys, don’t.
There’s a reason why fandoms get such bad raps and lemme say this is a perfect example of WHY.
We don’t need to ruin things by doing something stupid like harassing a company okay???

(Och ja, jag vet att det här antagligen höll på för månader sedan, men jag kan inte hjälpa än att vara nyfiken på vilka idioterna är och om vi lyckats få några sådana här i Sverige! >u<'' *usch!*)

Det finns ju risker att Betty Crocker börjar läsa HS och stämmer Hussie, för jag tror inte riktigt han har tillstånd att använda Crockers namn bara så där! Jag venne... men seriös, vissa människor (eller mera än hälften) är sjuka i huvudet på något sätt och får oss andra att föreställa idioter 8I
Jag har ingen aning om vad denna Betty Crocker skiten handlar om.... och ärligt talat vill jag inte ens veta u_u'

Mhm, sådana fans som de säkert var/är är bara jobbiga på och utanför konvent. òvó
Tex som de HS cosplayare som sular hinkar på andra HS cosplayare.. Jag tror att någon skadade sig rejält någon gång tkv en för hård "hink-kastning"..??
