An alteration of the timeline for the superhero, The Flash. The Flash must team with other heroes to restore the timeline while the Earth is ravaged by a war between Aquaman's Atlantis and Wonder Woman's Amazons.
Everyone at one time wants to go to the past and change everything. And Barry Allen has that chance. When he was a child, his mother was brutally murdered and when he grew up, lightning struck in his lab turning him into the Fastest Man Alive. However, traveling to the past to change it can distort everything with serious consequences. When he wakes up, it's in a world he doesn't even know. This is a world where the Justice League does not exist, where no one has ever heard of Superman, where Aquaman and Wonder Woman have plunged the world into the darkness of war, where no human has ever wielded the Green Lantern's light, where the Fastest Man Alive is just another man, and where Batman has as much blood on his hands as his enemies do. Powerless and alone, Barry remembers reality as it once was. He turns to Batman for help to get his powers back and joins forces with the warped versions of the men and women he once fought alongside with to set things back to rights. It will take time, but unfortunately, Barry is running out of it as his memories are starting to fade. Whether Barry succeeds or fails...the world will never be the same

DC and Warner Bros. seem to make much better animated direct-to-home videos than they do full-length feature films (with the rare exception of the "Batman" films). Another grand entry in the legacy of DC home videos and a treat for all the DC superhero fans that is sure to resonate across diverse age groups.
With the plot particularly emphasizing on "The Flash" as the central character of how the story unfolds, this one promises to be a special treat for fans of the red-suited speedster like me; who've only ever been treated once before (a riveting T.V. show back in 1990) to a worthy visual medium of the fastest man ever.
This may seriously be the greatest direct to video movie I have ever seen in my entire life as well as the greatest animated superhero movie ever created. I simply love how massively epic this film is. I mean, you seriously get to see probably more superheroes than any other movie I've ever seen! I feel really bad for not having read the original comic book that this was based on. Come on, I don't know which comics will be adapted! Anyway, the very first minute of this movie is amazing with the gorgeous and unique animation. Right from the bat, we get to see all of the Flash's enemies in one place, most of whom I don't even know and I know comic books!
I was waiting for Zoom to show up and of course he did! We get a great opening scene with the Justice League helping the Flash. The next day, Barry Allen (the Flash)wakes up to find that his world has changed in that his mother is still alive. The beginning showed her dying, by the way. Unfortunately, things have gotten much worse with her, as Aquaman and Wonder Woman have become villains that are more or less destroying the world. One of the greatest parts is him finding Batman only to find out that he isn't Bruce Wayne, but actually Thomas Wayne, Bruce's father! Thomas Wayne only ever really appeared briefly in the mythos, so it's awesome to see a movie featuring him as Batman.
Although it's not actually shown, it's revealed that in this Universe, Martha Wayne went crazy over Bruce who died instead and she actually became the Joker! There is never a dull moment in this wonderful film as there's tons of action in every way imaginable. It's so cool to see Lex Luthor and Deathstroke fighting for good, even though they fail badly. And you know what else this movie has? The voice of Nathan Fillion again! Yes, Richard Castle is back in another animated superhero movie. Steve from "Wonder Woman" appears, but Nathan actually voices the Green Lantern.
We even have Ron Perlman as the voice of Slade (Deathstroke) again! We get to see tons of classic DC superheroes and supervillains duke it out here. What's amazing is simply how powerful and frightening these images are. As the movie goes on, all the characters die in horrible ways. This is a film that earns its PG-13 rating and honestly, it might have even gotten an R rating! I'm so mad these films aren't released in theaters. I mean, they're such wonderful works of art. Every character has an important role and it's done so tragically. This is the best movie I have seen for all of Superhero Month!
Maybe it just struck me as personal because it featured evil people destroying the world over petty squabbles. I'm going to admit I'm not feeling good reading news about Donald Trump's relationship with North Korea. I don't want this review to be political, but I want to know that there will always be hope. Live every day as if it were your last one as you never know when you will die. I just keep on living my life and enjoying it to the fullest. I don't know what will happen, but enjoying every moment of our lives always works. ****
It is shown that Captain Atom was captured by Aquaman, but it was never revealed that how he was captured. It can only be speculated that Aquaman's advanced technology was used against Captain Atom to neutralize him. a5c7b9f00b
