Anacondas: The Hunt For The Blood Orchid Movie Free Download Hd

A group of scientists from New York City head to Borneo to find a rare flower called 'The Blood Orchid' that could grant longer life and make them billionaires. However when their boat goes over a waterfall, the group realize that a pack of Anacondas have got to the flower first and are even bigger and deadlier than ever...
In New York, the ambitious Dr. Jack Byron and his associate Gordon Mitchell present the research of his assistant Sam Rogers to the CEO and board of directors of a corporation to sponsor a scientific expedition to Borneo. The objective is to find a flower, Blood Orchid, that flourishes for a couple of weeks every seven years and could be a fountain of youth, prolonging the expectation of life of human beings. They are succeeded and once in Borneo, they realize that it is the raining season and there is no boat available to navigate on the river. They pay US$ 50,000.00 to convince Captain Bill Johnson and his partner Tran to sail to the location. After an accident in a waterfall, the survivors realize that a pack of anacondas have gathered for mating and their nest is nearby the plantation of Blood Orchid, which made them bigger and bigger.
This action adventure horror thriller film was released on August 27, 2004, seven years after its predecessor was released, and earning back more than three times its budget of $20 million. The PG-13-rated film shares the same premise as the previous film: A group of Americans travel into the jungles of Borneo, where they are hunted by snakes, and killed off one by one. The 97-minute long film stars the villainous Matthew Marsden as the leader of a team of researchers, with KaDee Strickland, Eugene Byrd, Salli Richardson, and Nicholas Gonzalez as his colleagues, as well as Morris Chestnut as the CEO of the company he's working for, Johnny Messner as a boat captain, and Karl Yune as a boat skipper. Overall, the acting is better than the film needs to be, especially Marsden as the villain, but the film is just as bad as you'd expect. Although, the various characters getting killed off does make you smile. The film frankly goes by really quickly, as the fast-paced narrative, and director Dwight Little's steadfast direction makes the movie feel an hour shorter than it is. Before I finish the review, I need to point out the decline in quality in the effects used to make the titular snake. The snakes look as bad as Godzilla in Roland Emmerich's 1998 version, although this film's anaconda looks much better than the next two sequels (Offspring, and Trail of Blood). Overall, the film is a good way to kill 90 minutes, or if it's a lazy Sunday afternoon where you want to watch a movie that's so bad it's good. Although, I generally enjoyed the film, and not even ironically. 5/10.
I cant remember much about the original 'Anaconda', save for the fact that I didn't like it much; but even so, I knew going into this silly jungle adventure that I was going to enjoy myself. The Anaconda sequel goes the same way as Aliens, in that it adds an 's' to the end of the original title instead of having a number 2 there. Unlike Aliens, however, this film isn't all that good. But then again...nobody expects it to be, and in terms of the 'fun factor', Anacondas definitely does it's job. Many criticise this flick for the fact that it's not brilliant - but that's just stupid if you ask me. If you're expecting brilliance going into a sequel to a low-key nineties horror thriller; it's YOU who should be criticised. Anyway, Anacondas spends about two minutes spread over one scene setting it's plot up, and then we're off into the jungle. The plot revolves around, as the sub-title suggests, a hunt for a rare flower that supposedly has life-giving qualities. But the real point of the film is people getting eaten by over-sized snakes...
The huge snakes are brought to life by computer-generated effects. For CGI, the effects aren't too bad; but as usual, they completely fail to be impressive. The snakes look good while they're meandering through the water, but when we get to see them properly; they just look mundane. The film is, of course, set in the Amazon jungle; and that is one of this film's main assets. The jungle always provides a great setting for thrillers, because there's just so much wonder within it. Aside from snakes, we also get spiders, crocodiles and various other grisly beasts for out heroes to contend with. The cast is typically made up of unknowns, and none of them really impress. Johnny Messner is the best of them, and he takes the lead role as the rugged captain of the boat that takes the team of researchers through the jungle. On the whole, Anacondas pretty much delivers what you would expect it to deliver. There's plenty of action, plenty of snakes and not a lot in the way of plot or characters. Of course, it doesn't matter; and I can recommend this film to anyone that simply wants ninety minutes of easy viewing.
This movie didn't have to be good, but that it's so boring in its badness is tough to swallow.
