28 Mar 2011 Sounds like an anomaly, right? When I was a kid folding frogs, my mother gave me origami paper that was most certainly dry. But the works below by Vietnamese-American artist Giang Dinh were folded with one *wet* piece of paper. It's a technique called "Wet-Folding", invented by the great Japanese
22 May 2015 Often one associates origami with sharp and precise folds, miniature works that have a crisp perfection. Origami artist Hoang Tien Quyet shies away from this rigidity, instead folding his small objects with a technique called “wet-folding," which allows curves to be created instead of the typical straight lines.
17 Feb 2017 If you're looking for wet folding origami diagrams, you won't have much luck. There are no specific models created just for wet folding. When looking for a project to make using wet folding, try to find a fairly simple model. Since you're working with thick paper, you don't want to fold anything that will have

Wet folding. When folding inanimate subjects such as trains, cars and the like, the main objective is accuracy; all the requisite features should be the right size and in the right place. In addition, the folding of mechanical objects lends itself to a strongly geometric approach since curved surfaces are less frequent. When you
