Here again is my Sears Homart home cooler window fan from the 1950s. The fan has It is a commercial grade fan, with the manual even including an exploded view and parts list for each individual part. In this video I disassembled the Viking window fan shaft so that I could clean and re-oil its bronze sleeve bearings.
I know Tom, but pictures can be deceiving too :D We'll see when i get it. By the way, I've seen people post pics of their Homarts but I've never seen anybody post pics of it mounted. Here's an old Sears Homart two-speed belt driven window fan that I recently picked up. My main motivation for getting this . I have one of those fans and also the original owner's manual, which gives the motor specifications as 1/6 horsepower, 2 speed, 110 volt 60 cycle AC, part # 50121. Mine is actually on its 3rd motor

I just lucked into 2 good-condition Sears Homart Belt-Driven window fans. The fans are awaiting cleanup and lubrication right now, but I do have an issue with one of them that will need to be solved.
