13 May 2017 Fairly new to the 5th wheel we have. On our first trip last year we had a problem with retracting our hydraulic slide outs. Ended up being a loss connection on the motor to drive the system. My question is how do you override the system and manually retract the slide outs. Would like to be prepared when

Step 2. Check the battery and verify it is fully charged and connected to the electrical system. Press and hold the wall-mounted In/Out switch. If the slide does not extend or retract, use the manual override to extend or retract the slide-out.
30 Sep 2013 Once the Valve(s) are Manually Overridden, the Motor can now be overridden using a hand drill with a 1/4" hex head bit. Peel off protective label covering the Override (Fig. 3). Run the drill clockwise to extend the Leveling Jacks or Slideout and counterclockwise to retract (Fig. 4).
