Aug 6, 2014 So how can you keep track of your spot in a book if you don't want to use a boring 'ol bookmark? Why not make an origami monster bookmark?? . Nice tutorial. Loved the creative addition of tassels! Sharing some DIY Bookmarks Ideas with friends ideas4diy.com/diy-bookmarks-ideas. ReplyDelete.
You will need a sheet of paper (preferably origami paper), scissors and decorations and glue to make the monster or any other creature your heart desires. Fold the left and right corner to the centre point. Cut off the excess part and cut through the middle so that you get two triangles.
To make the origami bookmark: Fold the paper in half, bottom corner to top corner. Fold and glue the bottom-left corner up to the top corner. Turn over, then fold the bottom corner – top layer only – up to the top corner. Unfold your last fold and fold back up, in the other direction, into the pocket.
