19 Apr 2011 Correction: you can use manual control for video recording with the Nikon D5100. I am wondering then, how these ISO and shutter speed settings were applied in video or even displayed for the user to take note of, if that is true. I have a little question for you, The D5100 has manual focus in video?
10 May 2011 I'm excited to see more Nikon-related videos! One other thing that you might want to try is to change the Focus mode to Manual. You do this by pressing the info edit button (left of AE-L button), toggle down to Focus mode (press down four times/right below Release mode), then select Manual focus.
You can shoot manual focus or continuous focus, set wb and aperture ( in A priority or manual) if you do that before starting the video.
