5 Apr 2016 I've had a manual transmission my entire life. Sadly, I had to upgrade to a newer car and really liked the 2016 Legacy. I thought I would get over the cvt transmission, but I can't. Is it possible to swap out the tranny with the Canadian 6 speed? It would be going into a 3.6, not the 2.5 that it comes with.

21 Oct 2016 I have looked through the MT swap threads but have only seen swaps finished on earlier SG and SH models. If I missed it Car Model: Forester XT Premium Mar 2015. Sure it is possible. People have done it successfully. Check the Forester forums for more specifics. But it should be identical to going from auto to manual in an Impreza. You will need the drive train components as well as the clutch pedal assembly which is all in one (brake, throttle, clutch) and you will need
