23 May 2012 Schuster Adjustable gas plug How To's. I've been shooting the M1 rifle for over 30 years and have NEVER had any plug other than the standard M1 gas cylinder plug and also have NEVER had problem one. I also wonder how many times you can take out the plug until you wear out the threads ???
14 Nov 2011 Hello, some time ago I was advised in this forum to mount an adjustable gas plug on my M1 Garand chambered in 308 to make it function. With some brands, the rifle does short stroke, with some other, obviously stronger ammo, it functions well, but accuracy is not the best. So i installed the Schuster DCM
